- UW Making the Difference: Careers in Federal Government is the name of our chapter of a nationwide effort to promote federal employment as a wise choice after graduation. The federal government is hiring — there's probably an agency that needs you just as much as you need it. Core to our efforts to promote federal careers are incredible UW students with federal experience, who have stepped-up into Student Ambassador roles. These students help our overall programming efforts and serve as resources for other students considering federal careers.
